Main focus of the Observatory for Sociopolitical Developments in Europe

The Observatory for Sociopolitical Developments in Europe will discuss social innovation from different points of view in the next issue of its Newsletter in September 2012. The Observatory's main emphasis will be lying on the interaction between the established suppliers of social services in the EU member states and the "new" actors, the social entrepreneurs. In this regard, the following questions are relevant:

- How do established welfare organisations all over Europe deal with social innovation?

- In which manner can social innovation be implemented and sponsored?

- What is the relationship between established organisations and social entrepreneurs?

- Which additional value can be generated by the interaction of these two parties?
